what Is a Dietitian?
Accredited practising Dietitians are University trained allied health professionals who are experts in the field of food and nutrition. Dietitians apply the latest scientific evidence to optimise health and assist in managing an array of medical conditions, including but not limited to; chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, cancer, intolerance, allergy and gastrointestinal disorders.
Dietitians endeavour to help their clients create sustained lifestyle change and as such will take into account your food preferences and current lifestyle in order to support long term success.

What to expect from your appointment with a Dietitian?
During your initial appointment your Dietitian will work with you to identify your health and nutrition related goals, identify areas for dietary change and develop an individualised plan. They will take into consideration factors such as current and past medical history, current dietary intake and activity levels when providing you with evidence based education and advice.
